I am a physical therapist with over 40 years of experience in the assessment, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal conditions. My clinical approach is holistic and patient-centered, integrating manual therapy, therapeutic exercise—including Clinical Pilates—and patient education, always grounded in the best available scientific evidence.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the leading clinical leaders in the United Kingdom, an experience that has helped me develop a particular interest in Advanced Clinical Reasoning and in decision-making based on the integration of scientific evidence, clinical experience, and the individual needs of each patient.

I firmly believe that education, active involvement, and patient empowerment are key elements in achieving lasting and meaningful clinical outcomes.

I currently work in private practice in the Lisbon area. I am also a senior instructor in Musculoskeletal Medicine, accredited by SOMM (Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine), and have had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and skills with physical therapists and general and family practitioners, both in Portugal and internationally.
